"For the first time in my life I found it necessary to put one of my beloved cats to sleep on August 16. My vet, Dr. Steve Woodby, knew how much Sheila meant to us and suggested a private cremation, something I had not thought of. Pet Heaven handled the arrangements and yesterday we went to Dr. Woodbys office to pick up her ashes. I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for the incredibly thoughtful way this entire process was handled. I broke into tears when I opened the little bag with the paw prints to see the little foot print with her name on it. I cannot tell you how much that meant to me. Sheila now sits on the shelf of the dining room china cabinet, looking out the window, which is where she spent her last days, and she will remain there. "My cat passed away last year in March, Knowles Animal Clinic was her vet.. she was close to 16 years of age.. we had her cremated,, the first of many pets I had cremated.. she passed at a time when I was involved in a move from residency, much was going on.. i have had her remains in the container & never looked at the paper work until tonight, I miss her terribly.. as I read thru the pamphlet included with her ashes, I was touched..
