What can I do if my pet companion passes away at home?
In the unfortunate event of your pet companion passing away at home you may contact our office, during business hours, and we will assist you in making the necessary arrangements.
If you wish, you also have option to bring your pet directly to our location, during business hours, to make any necessary arrangements.

What can I do if my pet companion passes away at home after office hours?
In the unfortunate circumstance of this happening, you can call our offices at (305)223-6515 in Miami-Dade or (800) 427-1669 outside of Miami-Dade, and you will be given a telephone number to call for after-hours removal service, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

What areas do you provide removal services?
Pet Heaven Memorial Park directly services areas from as far south as Key West to West Palm Beach, Florida. We can also arrange service for other areas, including any state in the continental U.S. & Puerto Rico. Fees vary based on location. Pet Heaven is also authorized to ship the remains or cremains of your pet companion to above mentioned locations.

How do I know the ashes I receive are my pet's?
All pets that are to be privately cremated are immediately identified with a unique name tag and then enter a system of continuous monitoring and handling with the utmost of care and dignity from the time of removal until the time of delivery of cremains. Pet Heaven Memorial Park can also provide, at no charge, a Cremation Certificate, guaranteeing in writing that the cremains you are receiving are those of your pet companion. Simply request this either directly through us, or through your veterinarian, and provide us with the Date of Birth and Date of Death of your beloved pet.
Finally, Private Viewings can be arranged for those who wish to be present for their pets cremation. For more information refer to next question.

Can I be present for my pet's cremation?
Yes, Private Viewings can be arranged. Please be advised, however, these appointments are typically booked in advance. For an nominal fee, your pet will be groomed and presented to you in a private viewing room, in which you may spend up to 30 minutes with you pet companion. Finally, you may proceed with the cremation and view the cremation, if you wish.
The above services are all optional, however, this appointment is the only way that you may either be present for the cremation, or receive back cremains on the same day. Unfortunately, due to a high workload and increasing demand for special appointments, there is usually at least a one week or more time period between arrangements and service. We apologize for this, as we always try our best to accommodate all situations as quickly and respectfully as possible.

When can I visit my pet's gravesite?
You may visit the cemetery grounds at any time. There are entrance gates on either side of the main building that are always accessible. Visitation hours are from sunrise to sundown.

Will the cemetery be around years from now?
Pet Heaven Memorial Park has existed since 1968, has been family owned and operated since 1972, and is zoned as Pet Cemetery/ Special Use in the Miami-Dade County records.

How soon can I expect my pet's cremains to be returned?
If arrangements were made directly at our location you can expect to be notified in no more than 7 days. If arrangements were made through an animal hospital or veterinarian you can expect them to be returned to the hospital in no more than 10 days. Specials Order urns (Figurine Urns, Pewter, Spartan, and Athenian Urns with Engraving, Luminescent Urns and special engraving on Hometown Oak urns) may take an additional 10-14 days.
