Hey everyone! I know I’m a few days late on this blog post but things have been a little hectic in here as far as editing photos from this last weekend. I also can’t believe I haven’t written an entry since the end of January – what was I thinking?!

Here is a quick update on what we have going on at Pet Heaven in the next few days:
Tomorrow (1/12), Sergio and I will be making some much needed changes to our Angel Garden. We purchased a few things around the holidays to spruce up the area and give it some much needed TLC. On Friday, once everything is all put together, I will be shooting some photos and posting them on the blog and Facebook for everyone to see. Hopefully the weather cooperates with us for the next few days so our plans run nice and smooth.
We are still participating in the Walk for Animals 2012 for the Humane Society of Greater Miami. If you’re interested in walking, or donating please go to our homepage and click on the link provided. The team that is walking for Pet Heaven is called One Leg Up and has been raising money for the Humane Society since 2009. Our goal this year is to raise $1000 by February 18, the day of the walk.
Finally, I was reading through some of the books here on my desk and found another great poem. Feel free to read on if you’re interested…

The holidays flew by and so has the year! Luckily, we have been able to capture some of the holiday spirit that spread throughout Pet Heaven. Pet Heaven provides an optional Flower Care Program that consists of polysilk flower arrangements.

Having an ill or aging pet is a difficult thing to face. You have many decisions to consider. Are there treatments that might help your pet? If there are, can you afford them? Are they the best thing for your pet? Is it time to consider euthanasia for your pet?
